San Antonio

Hey, I heard you’re in need of a little fire in your life. I got you, boo, let’s fuel your need for new photos. Hannah’s San Antonio portrait session is lit. Better make sure you’re in the AC because it’s about to get hot in here. Don’t blaze through these photos; they deserve your undivided attention. Ok, ok, that’s enough of the punny warm up. Let’s actually talk about these smokin’ photos for real.

I’ve been wanting to do a session like this since Amanda’s photos happened. Clearly, I chose the right girl for this project. Hannah is one of my favorite people around and she’s gorgeous to boot. And, you know, her fiery personality made this even better than I possibly could have made it without her. We started out with some classic wildflower portraits and slowly made the session darker, little by little. Our inspiration came from the Weird Sisters from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Specifically, what would it look like if a witch went to Coachella? We killed it. And then brought it right back because, well, no Sabrina spoilers.

In the middle of researching how to get the smoke to do what we wanted and how to make our own gem crown, a playlist was made. Am I listening to it right now? You bet. Start it up and then start scrolling. See if you can pick out a favorite part of this session and tell me in the comments. May these photos light a fire in you to feed your own creative side this week.
